TIKA’s Vision Board Workshop Series

In partnership with the TDSB and the Toronto Public Library, TIKA has spearheaded a 5 week Vision Board Workshop Series that assists all people but specifically marginalized youth, BIPOC, LGTBQIA++, Women of Colour and POC people find their purpose.

By focusing on their dreams and desires, TIKA acts as a guide and assists them in learning how to manifest, how to develop key affirmations for their goals and how to create a yearly Vision Board that will assist in envisioning the life they truly desire.

MAKE MUSIC FOR MOVIES

As the lead artistic director for StereoVisual, TIKA and Casey MQ created a curriculum for students and music teachers who want to learn how to score or create music for television and film.

The workshop series is spread over the course of 4 weeks and is creating ripples in many Canadian school districts as one of the most important and progressive curriculums set to assist marginalized students struggling with mental health issues, attention deficit and need support in developing long-lasting connections with friends.

VOCAL TRAINING

As an academy award winning Singer/Songwriter, TIKA is one of the most sought after vocalists for stage shows. She now provides vocal training services to singers looking to expand their range and develop their vocal abilities while teaching key vocal techniques to assist in levelling up to the highest degree.

Key notes will be formed on how to strengthen vocal palettes and protect the voice. She also uses energy work in her teaching methods to assist with unravelling harmful past trauma that may have created blocks in the voice that are hindering clear speech while building trust to develop a channel in vocal work.

GUIDANCE FOR STAGE

As a skilled stage performer who has performed all over the world for over 12 years, TIKA also provides guidance and support to artists and musicians looking to expand their stage presence.

Oftentimes, singers are trained in vocal training but lack the knowledge and awareness of how to navigate their bodies, their energy or the connection of movement to stage. It’s the perfect opportunity for any singer to develop movement in their regular routines in an effort for their stage show to be prepped for tour.

TIKA has been writing music for over 10 years. Collaborating with others for sync placements, theme songs, commercials and albums has been a personal hobby now transitioned into a career path. After using energy work to channel and create the Academy Award winning record “And Then We Don’t,” TIKA is now offering her songwriting services to other creatives interested in expanding their verbal palette and strengthening and honing their skills as musicians.

Since 2009 to now, TIKA has been highly sought after as one of the most talented and professional executive producers and A&R’s in Canada. She offers solid guidance and support in terms of hit songs, she can spot a star from across the room and she has the Midas touch when it comes to crafting and choosing hit records.
